December 4, 2014 - Christmas project - arrange the green strips of paper in order from longest to shortest to build a Christmas tree!
November 7, 2014 - After tracing around their hands, the children cut the shapes out and we used as feathers on our Thanksgiving turkey display. Red & blue feathers make for a salute to Veterans.
October 21,2014 -
"Counting teeth on our Jack-o-Lanterns" project. We work daily on "decomposing" numbers. For this project it was more fun to use candy corn teeth before we glued on the paper teeth! I think the children are catching on!

September 26, 2014 - "How many apples up on top?" project. After reading Dr. Seuss' "10 Apples Up on Top", the children stacked one apple per letter of their first name, then "decomposed" the number. I took several pictures to show how many kids are in the room...and 4 were absent today, so theirs aren't on display yet.
August 29, 2014 - Our first art project! The kids tore construction paper into pieces, then glued onto an outline of a dog. We added eyes and a muzzle. Cute!
