For 42 years, I have been involved with the Pyramid Players Regional Theatre Group. We perform musicals and I love being in the chorus of the show each summer. This is a picture from our 40th Anniversary Gala at the Benton Civic Center.
After graduating from Eastern Illinois University in 1981, I was hired to teach classroom music and chorus at Z-R in the fall of 1985. Here is a picture of me in the music room. After 10 years, I moved down the hall and around the corner to Kindergarten and have been there ever since! I am very happily married to my husband, Brian who is a former teacher, but now a worship pastor at First Baptist Church in Marion. We enjoy botanical gardens and visit one whenever we are in a new city. Our family has always loved all things Disney, so much that our daughter worked there two semesters during college. We've been to Disneyland in California once, but nothing can beat Disneyworld in Florida! One of our favorite things to do at EPCOT is listening to the "Voices of Liberty" sing before "The American Adventure". (It's a secret dream of mine to be one of those singers!) Pictured with us is our daughter and her husband. Our grown-up daughter has a fur-brother: Cooper, a Maltese Shih tzu mix that we picked up on New Year's day 2018. He was only 6 weeks old then. He's still a puppy, but gives us much joy! |
